Chasity Faison, Head Teacher, Infant/Toddler Class

Chasity is a native of Florida, who moved to Richmond, Virginia where she attended school. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. While studying at VCU, she found her love for teaching. During her senior year, she obtained an internship at a specialty school for children diagnosed with autism. Her passion for teaching elevated her to a full-time teacher position. She focused her efforts on early childhood and began working at Minnieland Daycare Center, where she gained experience working with children as young as six-months to the age of two. She made the move to New York City, where she once again worked with children with developmental disorders. While working, she continued her study in psychology towards a Master's of Science from Nova Southeastern University. Chasity received recognition for her work ethic and experience resulting in a promotion to Lead Teacher at Reach for the Stars Learning Center. Although she enjoys teaching children with developmental disabilities, her true passion is early childhood. She is in the works to become certified by the State of New York in early childhood (birth-two years). Chasity is excited, enthusiastic and ready to make a difference in your children's lives.
